"Interlude"

I directed and performed in this re-creation of a LOST episode of the 1953-54 radio series "On Stage with Cathy and Elliott Lewis".  The original recording is lost; only the script survives.  This is the first time it's been performed since 1954.

It's a quiet, rather daring, drama about a man who leaves his wife of ten years, and picks up a woman in a bar. The night they spend together changes their lives.

Performed with Project Audion---an online radio theatre group, with members scattered throughout North America, and meeting via Zoom...hence the occasional technical hiccup.

Cast:  Patte Rosebank (Cathy Lewis/Ginny), Tim Burns (Elliott Lewis/Larry), Trevor Rines (Bartender)

Announcer:  Trevor Rines

Director:  Patte Rosebank

Producer:  Larry Groebe

"The Eavesdropper"

I directed and performed in this Project Audion re-creation of a LOST 1956 episode of "Suspense", with one heck of a climactic scene.

It's not been performed since then, so, until the original recording is found, ours is the definitive version.

Cast:  Duane Noch (Dave), Patte Rosebank (Karen),
Bill (Tim Burns), Trevor Rines (Harris + Voice of Suspense)

"A Month of Sundays"

A re-creation of a LOST episode of the 1953-54 radio series "On Stage with Cathy and Elliott Lewis".  The original recording is lost; only the script survives.  This is the first time it's been performed since 1953.

This is a gem of a light romantic comedy, about a not-too-successful real estate agent and his very picky client.  And it hasn't been heard in almost 70 years.

Performed with Project Audion---an online radio theatre group, with members scattered throughout North America, and meeting via Zoom...hence the occasional technical hiccup.

I directed this episode, and performed in it.

Cast:  Tim Burns (Elliott/Janus), Patte Rosebank (Cathy/Louise), Denise Cline (Mrs. Marlin).

Announcer:  Trevor Rines

Director:  Patte Rosebank

Sound Effects:  Ken Raney

"Special to Hollywood"

A re-creation of an episode of "Arch Oboler's Plays" from 1945.

A trio of thoroughly self-absorbed Hollywood big shots charters a plane to the Chicago premiere of their latest movie.  On the way back, something inexplicable happens that forces them to confront their lack of humanity.

Performed with Project Audion---an online radio theatre group, with members scattered throughout North America, and meeting via Zoom... hence the occasional technical hiccup.

I directed this episode, and performed in it.
